This means that any message you submit to physicians via this physician finder may be read by members of the Calypso team and/or its representatives during the course of ensuring that the physician locator is being used appropriately. This information is stored in a way to prevent identifying the message with any individual person, but to protect your safety you should not provide any personal medical history via this site and instead discuss that history in person with your physician. Radiation-Oncology Professional Training

The Calypso® System should be used only by radiation-oncology professionals who have developed adequate skills to perform the tasks associated with each instance of radiation therapy and who have received specific training in the use of the Calypso System. Training provided by Calypso is limited to product education on the Calypso System and does not replace the necessary medical training and experience required to perform the radiation therapy.

Implanting Physician Training

The Calypso Beacon® electromagnetic transponders should be used only by implanting physicians who have developed adequate skills to perform the tasks associated with the implantation of said transponders and who have received specific training in the use of the transponders. Implanting physicians may vary by medical specialty. Training provided by Calypso is limited to product education on the Calypso Beacon transponders and does not replace the necessary medical training and experience required to perform the procedures.
